Aki Choklat is an internationally acclaimed Finnish-Moroccan footwear designer, design/trend consultant and fashion professional now based in Florence, Italy.

A Royal College of Art graduate, Aki is director of his own label and has experience in all levels of the fashion industry, from design and production through to teaching and consultancy.

Aki now shares his time between Florence (where he teaches at Polimoda fashion school), Finland and London – where a chance meeting on Marylebone High Street marked the start of the ‘Aki Choklat for Diverso’ collaboration...

Long standing admirers (and customers!) of Aki’s shoes - we first met the man behind the brand 6 years ago after discovering we worked with the same product photographer in James Frid.

Aside from using the same photographer, Aki also shares our philosophy of quality, craftsmanship and great esign – and it was upon these foundations that the collaboration was born 18 months ago in London.

With ‘Aki Choklat for Diverso’ footwear now well established – Aki and his team of craftsmen have overseen the development of shoes, boots and trainers using only the finest materials and craftmanship available !
